High Relief · Deep ProjectionFigures and scenes that project boldly from the background, with some areas nearly free-standing. High relief carries the strongest visual depth — used for dramatic museum walls, historical narratives and monuments where the composition needs to read from a distance and cast its own shadows.
Bas / Low Relief · ShallowShallow, refined relief with minimal projection from the surface. Ideal for plaques, portraits, corporate logos, coins and architectural facades — where elegant, precise detail matters more than depth. Lost-wax casting holds the fine lines that define low relief.
