Custom, Not Catalogue

A horse built for your project

Most suppliers ship one of a few stock horse molds. We build yours to order — you set the pose, the size, the coat color and the finish, and we engineer the horse specifically for where it will stand.

From your photo

Send a photo, drawing or reference of the horse or breed — we sculpt a master to match before molding.

Life-size to giant

Pony, foal, life-size, over-life-size and giant landmark horses, engineered on an internal steel armature.

Any coat color

Hand-painted white, black, bay, chestnut, palomino or dapple grey — or a bronze / metallic finish.

Ship & install worldwide

Custom crating, anchoring drawings and on-site installation for large horses, anywhere.

Poses & Types

Fiberglass horse poses we custom-build

The pose sets the whole character of a horse statue — and its engineering. We build every classic pose, each with an armature designed for balance and safety.

Size & Scale

How big is a life-size horse statue?

A life-size fiberglass horse matches a real adult horse. We build every size below, each engineered for its scale.

From foal to giant landmark

  • Foal / Pony≈ 1.0–1.3 m tall · gardens, kids' areas
  • Life-Size Horse≈ 1.6–1.8 m tall · ~2.4 m long · matches a real horse
  • Over-Life-Size≈ 2.0–3.0 m tall · plazas, entrances
  • Giant Landmark3 m+ · steel-engineered, sectioned & site-assembled

All sizes are laminated over an internal steel armature. Large and giant horses are reviewed for wind and structural loads, built in sections and assembled seamlessly on site.

Coat Colors & Finish

Hand-painted in any coat color

The coat is what makes a horse statue convincing. Our artisans hand-paint natural coats stroke by stroke, then seal with a UV-resistant topcoat for outdoor life.

Built for the Outdoors

Engineered to stand outdoors for years

Horse statues live in stables, ranches, resorts and plazas — so they are built to take weather and handling.

UV & weatherproof

Gelcoat and topcoat systems hold coat color and form outdoors for 10+ years. Won't rust or rot.

Steel-reinforced legs

Internal steel armature carries the load through the legs — critical for walking and rearing poses.

Light to install

Far lighter than a bronze horse, so freight, foundations and installation are simpler and cheaper.

Reinforced for mounting

Need a ride-on or photo-mount horse? We strengthen the back and armature to carry weight.

How It's Made

How we custom-build your horse

Six stages, all under one roof. Nothing is molded until you approve the 3D model or foam pattern.

1

Preliminary Design

We build a 3D model of your horse from your photos, breed reference or the pose you want, for approval.

2

Prototype Making

A 1:1 foam master of the horse is CNC-carved and hand-refined until stance, muscle and proportion match a real horse.

3

Mold Preparation

The horse is split into modules; silicone split molds with plaster jackets capture every detail cleanly.

4

FRP Lamination

Resin and fiberglass mats are hand-laid over the molds to form the horse's lightweight FRP body.

5

Demolding & Assembly

Legs, body, neck and head are demolded, trimmed and joined with internal fiberglass overlap for strength.

6

Internal Skeleton

A galvanized steel frame is built through the legs and body — critical for walking and rearing poses to stand safely.

7

Coat Painting

Artisans hand-paint the coat color and markings, or a bronze-look finish, then seal with a UV-resistant topcoat.

8

Packing & Setup

The horse is crated, shipped worldwide, installed on site, its seams touched up and cleaned for final acceptance.

Shell 3–6mm laminate over steel armature Life-size horse: approx. 3–5 weeks Giant horse (over 2m): approx. 1–2 months

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What size is a life-size fiberglass horse statue?

A life-size horse statue is roughly 1.6–1.8 m tall at the head and about 2.4 m long, matching a real adult horse. We also build pony and foal sizes, over-life-size horses, and giant landmark horses several meters tall, each engineered on an internal steel armature.

Do you sell stock horses, or is every one custom?

Every horse is custom-built to order from your concept, drawing or photo. We do not sell from a fixed stock catalogue, so you choose the pose, size, coat color and finish exactly.

What poses can you make — rearing, walking, standing?

We build standing, walking, grazing, galloping and rearing horses, as well as horse heads, horse-and-rider groups and carousel horses. Any pose can be engineered, with the armature designed for balance and safety in that pose.

Can you paint the horse in a specific coat color?

Yes. We hand-paint any coat color — white, black, bay, chestnut, palomino, dapple grey and custom markings — as well as bronze, copper and metallic finishes, sealed with a UV-resistant topcoat for outdoor life.

Are fiberglass horses strong enough for outdoors and touch?

Yes. A fiberglass horse is laminated over an internal steel armature and finished with a weatherproof gelcoat and topcoat, so it resists UV, rain and handling and lasts 10 or more years outdoors. It will not rust or rot.

Can I use a fiberglass horse as a mounting or riding prop?

Yes, when specified. For photo-mount, saddle-display or ride-on carousel use we reinforce the armature and back structure to carry weight. Tell us the intended use and we engineer for it.

Can you build from my photo, and what is the lead time?

Yes. We work from your photos, drawing or a maquette, approved as a 3D model or foam pattern before molding. A life-size horse takes roughly 3–5 weeks and a giant horse over 2 m about 1–2 months, plus shipping, and are crated for worldwide delivery with installation support.
