Fiberglass Sculpture · Custom Horse Statues
Standing, walking, rearing, grazing, horse head or carousel — Wensculp custom-fabricates fiberglass (FRP/GFRP) horse statues to order, from life-size to giant landmark scale, hand-painted in any coat color or bronze finish.
A sculpture manufacturer since 1972 — modeled, molded and hand-finished in-house, built from your photo, drawing or concept. No stock catalogue, no middleman: a horse made for your project, with a 3D model or foam pattern you approve before we build the mold.
Custom, Not Catalogue
Most suppliers ship one of a few stock horse molds. We build yours to order — you set the pose, the size, the coat color and the finish, and we engineer the horse specifically for where it will stand.
Send a photo, drawing or reference of the horse or breed — we sculpt a master to match before molding.
Pony, foal, life-size, over-life-size and giant landmark horses, engineered on an internal steel armature.
Hand-painted white, black, bay, chestnut, palomino or dapple grey — or a bronze / metallic finish.
Custom crating, anchoring drawings and on-site installation for large horses, anywhere.
Poses & Types
The pose sets the whole character of a horse statue — and its engineering. We build every classic pose, each with an armature designed for balance and safety.

Calm, upright stance — the most versatile for entrances and displays.

One leg lifted mid-stride, a natural, lifelike sense of motion.

Front legs raised — dramatic and heroic, engineered for balance.

Full stride in motion, ideal for racing and dynamic landmarks.

Head lowered to graze — peaceful, natural for garden landscapes.

Head-and-neck busts for gateways, walls and interior features.

Bold low-poly and faceted horse designs for modern malls, plazas and art installations.

Equestrian groups — knight, cowboy or historical rider on horseback.
Size & Scale
A life-size fiberglass horse matches a real adult horse. We build every size below, each engineered for its scale.

All sizes are laminated over an internal steel armature. Large and giant horses are reviewed for wind and structural loads, built in sections and assembled seamlessly on site.
Coat Colors & Finish
The coat is what makes a horse statue convincing. Our artisans hand-paint natural coats stroke by stroke, then seal with a UV-resistant topcoat for outdoor life.
Plus dapple grey, pinto and custom markings, metallic and auto-grade gloss — or a full bronze / copper imitation with antique patina. Tell us the exact coat and we match it.
Built for the Outdoors
Horse statues live in stables, ranches, resorts and plazas — so they are built to take weather and handling.
Gelcoat and topcoat systems hold coat color and form outdoors for 10+ years. Won't rust or rot.
Internal steel armature carries the load through the legs — critical for walking and rearing poses.
Far lighter than a bronze horse, so freight, foundations and installation are simpler and cheaper.
Need a ride-on or photo-mount horse? We strengthen the back and armature to carry weight.
How It's Made
Six stages, all under one roof. Nothing is molded until you approve the 3D model or foam pattern.
We build a 3D model of your horse from your photos, breed reference or the pose you want, for approval.
A 1:1 foam master of the horse is CNC-carved and hand-refined until stance, muscle and proportion match a real horse.
The horse is split into modules; silicone split molds with plaster jackets capture every detail cleanly.
Resin and fiberglass mats are hand-laid over the molds to form the horse's lightweight FRP body.
Legs, body, neck and head are demolded, trimmed and joined with internal fiberglass overlap for strength.
A galvanized steel frame is built through the legs and body — critical for walking and rearing poses to stand safely.
Artisans hand-paint the coat color and markings, or a bronze-look finish, then seal with a UV-resistant topcoat.
The horse is crated, shipped worldwide, installed on site, its seams touched up and cleaned for final acceptance.

FAQ
A life-size horse statue is roughly 1.6–1.8 m tall at the head and about 2.4 m long, matching a real adult horse. We also build pony and foal sizes, over-life-size horses, and giant landmark horses several meters tall, each engineered on an internal steel armature.
Every horse is custom-built to order from your concept, drawing or photo. We do not sell from a fixed stock catalogue, so you choose the pose, size, coat color and finish exactly.
